Easter

Happy Easter!

How do you eat your chocolate Easter bunny? I start with the ears first...

How are these Easter words and traditions connected with you: eggs, religious, presents, ham, March/April, Slovenian potica (nut roll), ...?

Heh, I start with the ears first too, then I eat bunnys head, than arms, his body and at last bunnys legs. =)
Well, about those words and traditions I don't know much, because me and my family don't celebrate Easter. However, sometimes I get small presents, but that's all.

It isn't important where you start only that's good taste. :P
In my family we don't celebrate Easter, so I don't know much about this holiday. It's good that we have a day free, though.

I do hope others will inform you with their contributions on Easter.
If they don't, I suggest that you find some information yourselves and then write here about 2 or 3 things that you find new or interesting.

In our family Easter isn't important really. We colour eggs and buy some "jesus stuff" for guests. But we aren't like some people, who spend tones of money just for two days of celebration. But i do spend sunday and monday with my family, so that's what it's all about. Happy easter!

About that chocolate Easter bunny…I agree with sanja.lubej. All what counts is the taste.

The Easter isn’t very important holiday for me and my family, but anyway we do some traditional things. My grandparents come every year for Easter breakfast when we eat traditional food, we color eggs*, go to church and I get some small present or money too.

*This year I colored eggs twice, because my dog ate the first round (about 30 egs)…now she’s feeling sick all day. xD

Unbelievable. Poor dog!

Oh and here is my one big question. How do u get crusifiction, ressurection and then chocolate bunnies and colored eggs? How do u do that one? I even saw kids going:" rabbits dont lay eggs, what is this?". Personally i think its a load of bulldung. Religion is a scandalous story if u will on fake evidence. There is no real evidence that Jezus Christ even existed. I think that religion is to boost morale.

Am personally i start with the legs so the bunny cant run away and is sentenced to a slow and painful death :P just kidding... or am i? :P

I love colouring eggs, although I couldn't take upon this task because i was blessing people with a burning tree mushroom... xD

Interesting questions and points of view...let's see what others have to add.

Do you have a photo of the blessing tradition with a mushroom that you mentioned at the end? It might be interesting to explain it to others in greater details.

I don't really believe in "God", but I think that it's cool that we have free days because of "it"...And when I eat easter bunny I don't know with what "body" part I start, because I crush the bunny at the beginning:P

I don't give much attention for this celebration but i did when i was younger.

But i still like to colour eggs and this stuff. Oh and the food :D i like slovenian 'potica' and on easter holiday I'm always with my family. Thats the most important i guess.

hah a chocolate bunny :P I've never thought before about how i start to eat it. But i think i always start with ears :D

Well,we also don't celabrate it much, but we always go to my granparents on breakfast and potica and we colour eggs too.
But I'd like to answer on Rok's question:
If you remember,at R.I. we were thought that eggs represents Jesus' blood, horse raddish(hren)nails, etc. But Easter bunnies are just something that people made up,becouse little children didn't understood the 'true' meaning of Easter.
I don't actually belive in Jesus,I mean, how could he rise from the deads?Noncence!

Um in our family we do some traditional things like coloring eggs and my grandparents and aunt come for breakfast and we spend time together. I like this small holiday because we have one day free =). I just hate that all the shops are closed because of that celebrate. =)

most of the time i don't even eat the choclate bunny because, some of them are very pretty and i feel that eating it would be a shame. If i do i eat it like Edina.
We celebrate easter but this year it was the first year that we didn't colore eggs. We exchanged little gifts and frutis with our relatives.
